The three volunteers (Shannon, Zachary and Anish) spent this week teaching in the village schools, attended a teacher training conference and a vision education course on presbyopia. Next week they will be working in the clinic. Cathy is having some difficulty and likely will not be performing surgery. That will be monitored day to day. Nonetheless, we have three additional surgeons this trip and a full schedule. It’s great to be back in Serabu.

Zachary is so happy to be there and partake of this blessing! He says the locals have great regard, respect and love for you and Cathy. It is evident wherever you’ll go. The three students, too are much loved. My compliments to the chef/cook. She is doing an excellent job cooking delicious wholesome meals for the group.
