Medical Update
Cathy continues her daily low dose of chemo pills. This week she had a few more bouts of yucky nausea. On Tuesday she will have more lab tests and a follow-up visit with her Guthrie cancer doctor. Her next MRI is scheduled for early December at the Duke Brain Cancer Center.
Life Update
Halloween is a very active evening where we live in Athens PA. Over 400 Trick-or-Treaters strolled by our home to add a little more candy to their increasing collection. We moved our fire pit to the driveway to keep us warm during the parade of costumes. Cathy served hot apple cider to 100+ adults, and I gave away six giant bags of miniature Snickers and Milky Ways. It was a fun couple of hours filled with many adorable outfits, including Cathy’s.
Cathy and Halloween – Sweet!!!
PS We will be in Memphis for Thanksgiving with our family. Our oldest daughter, Robyn and her husband Jim, are hosting this grand event. On Saturday, November 25th we will be attending 8 AM Mass at Holy Spirit Catholic Church (2300 Hickory Crest Drive) followed by “Hugs and Hello” in the conference room next to the Narthex. Then we will head to Nashville to attend 5 PM Mass at St. Philip Catholic Church (in Franklin) for more hugs. We hope to see you along the way.
Cute costume. We did not have one trick-or-treater
